Focus at Home Steyning cancelled, however Focus at Home still going ahead!

Something extraordinary happens when we get together.

23rd - 25th July 2021

Hi everyone,

With deep regret, we are writing to say that we have decided to cancel Focus at Home at Steyning next weekend.

The latest Government advice issued for Brighton & Hove to stem the rising number of COVID cases in the city caused by the Delta variant says ‘people should minimise travel into and out of the city, avoid meeting people indoors and keep two metres apart from people that you do not live with, including friends and family.’ Very sadly therefore, with a week to go, this has left us with no option but to cancel our plans to camp together in Steyning.

It’s really disappointing that we won’t be able to spend the weekend all together, as there’s no doubt we all needed a chance to kick back and have some fun hanging out and encountering God together.

We may not be able to camp in Steyning, however Focus at Home is still going ahead - here in Brighton as well as across the HTB Network, and we’d love for you all to join in with an incredible weekend.

There will be lots of online content for you to tune into (more details to follow next week), and to make the weekend extra special, we’ll be delivering some treats to each household just before Focus – so keep a look out!

On Friday evening, we will be hosting Kingdom Come, both at St Peter’s and online (tickets for this event will be released on the website soon).

On Sunday 25 July, St Peter's will have three services in the building at 8am, 9.30am, 10.30am and 5pm. You can book your seats here. For this week only, St Peter’s Church Online will be live from 10.30am, and feature news from across the HTB network. For those of you who attend St Matthias, Tom and the team will be in touch with you over the next few days with Sunday arrangements.

We will keep in touch over the next week, and please do send us an email at if you have any questions.

Love, Archie and Sam
